PLEASE WATCH THIS 6MIN VIDEO BEFORE YOU READ THE POST! It will all make sense.....
Listen, if your anything like me watching this was a bit hard. Seeing two people hit and slam is just daunting to say the least. Yet i learned a lesson from this scene.
This movie is called "South Paw" it's a drama/ thriller filmed in 2015.Of course its more to the story line before the fight so let me bring you up to speed.Pause (yes i am a girly girl who loves to watch violent, action and masculine movies) Continued.. The two men are playing characters as Mr. Billly "The Great" Hope and Miguel Escobar. They are rivals from some ring beef that left his wife who was his high-school sweetheart dead after gunfire let out in a hotel lobby. Sadly I recognized that this fight started over pride. Men i know you will understand me when I say that you can take things way to far. The issue of pride between these men caused Billy to loose hope, love and courage. His anger towards himself for the actions that he took that night led him to abusing alcohol, abandoning his three story luxury house and the custody of his daughter.
So, you get the picture. This man's life literally fell apart one day he's on stage and the entire arena is standing calling his name BILLY. BILLY. BILLY. BILLY!! Now it's completely silent ........ I can imagine that you have felt this high and low before. Feeling like everything was going to turn out great and then falling face forward on pavement with not only one black eye but TWO! Honestly, i don't know what i would have done if this were me, i can barley take a stub on my toe from hitting it on the corner of the couch. (You know what i mean it happened to you too don't judge).
Here's the lesson i need you to get from this man's life. Although he lost his wife, he still had a beautiful daughter to raise and care for. How many times (honestly) have you wanted to give up but couldn't because you looked in the face of someone you loved? - I'll let that sink in. .
You may be in the fight of your life. Maybe you lost a close loved one. Maybe you felt like 2019 was going to be great and it started with a huge drop in your finances. The crowd has stopped cheering and People who you love are still counting on you.
THE PRESSURE
With everyone waiting for you to come back and fight the man that took everything from you. What do you do?
Let's go back to Job's story shall we. .
Job 1:6-12 say's
One day the angels[a] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan[b] also came with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job?There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
Notice how God has already predicted your win. He's so confident in you. That he's proving to hell that it's no MATCH for you. I honestly believe God to be a funny man. He was probably chuckling at the fact that he even considered you.
As you now know from my previous post that JOB's life was very hard. He lost everything too. Just like Mr. Billy.
Mr. Billy and Job are alot alike because they both had friends and family that questioned there favor by God. Lost everything including their wives. [Hey, i hope your also seeing how the bible isn't just a book of rules but these stories are real life lessons for you and me.] Job and Billy both had days were they weeped and cried aloud wondering when they were going to come through with better days.
Perspective Movement: Maybe our tears to God is us saying " Give me one more shot to kill this devil, I promise I wont loose this time"! God want's to work something out of you. Your tears aren't that your weak your just getting ready to fight again.
