As a friend of faith's for about three years now, I have witnessed her growth and her triumphs over battles that go undescribed. As a fellow blogger and creative, she has created a wonderful platform for women and men to ask questions and freely answer them as well. Here are a few questions we asked Faith
Who is Faith – A child of God, a visionary, a creator, a mother, a dreamer, a believer, and a survivor.
In three words I would describe my life so far as, unpredictable, evolving, and worth it!
To Be Kreative is a platform made for Kreators and aspiring Kreators. We are a Christian based platform.
Designed to create spiritual and mentally challenging environments (The way you think, speak, and
communicate). We desire to create a space for creators to create freely within their lifestyles,
relationships, business, and spiritual walk.
To Be Kreative was birthed from me giving birth to my son. While laying in the hospital bed about 16 hours into labor the doctor comes and tells me that my baby is in distress and I’m going to have to have an emergency c-section. As I laid on the table I began to pray, asking God to just let me & my son live. When I fell asleep, God responded to me and plastered the Word across my mind (Psalm 51:10) "Create in me a clean heart, and renew in me the right spirit."He let me know at that moment that not only will we leave but he granted me a second chance to get it right.
So when I first started this brand I originally wanted to call it To Be Continued. Thinking that story was written but it was finished and had to be the one to write the rest & inspire others with my story. But God changed it. He told me I was born to create. If it was through Fashion, inspiring other women to step out on Faith and embrace their stories, teaching someone how to heal from being mistreated, or just writing the business plan. He birthed me for this. So To Be Kreative was my second chance at life, my opportunity to get it right in the earth while also motivating and inspiring others to do the same thing. Creating is so much more than drawing and or poetry. It’s tapping into that inner craft that lives inside of you, it’s having thought-provoking conversations to make you think how can I be better, it’s pouring into some else life so that they can have enough Faith to do what they always dreamed of. To Be Kreative is all of that!
I want To be Kreative to infect the world, meaning I want what I have created to spread and touch lives
all around the world. I want it to wake up the kreators, wake up the believers. Give them the desire to
go a little deeper; into their word and to their kreative abilities.
To Be Kreative has touched so many lives already! We have our Kreative Convo’s that we host via the internet
that allows other kreators to join in the opposed conversation, to share their thoughts and opinions. We
share daily struggles as a creator, We post kreative quotes, kreative scriptures, and Kreative thoughts (
Thinking like a creator). We hosted our first event, title the Women’s Empowerment Luncheon in
February 2020 which was amazing in the heart of downtown Baltimore. Over 60 women came out to
support and join the movement. Striving to do more of those events and gatherings. Right now, I am
involved in virtual panels, discussions, and conferences. Impacting the creative world.
My brand has given me inner strength. Taking on my Women’s luncheon and seeing how successful it turned
out, showed me that I have so much to offer the world and believers. If it's me simply just sharing my
testimony, or empowering someone to share theirs, or inspiring someone to create is all I want.
My testimony was shared in front of all the women who supported us at the luncheon. In the midst of the pandemic, the Lord has done some amazing things. A miracle has occurred which is that my Dad has the ability to come home from Prison. My dad has been Incarcerated ALL OF MY LIFE! In a few days, I will be 24 years old and I have never experienced a moment with my dad outside of the 4 walls of a visiting area. BUT GOD! God's graces and prayers of family and friends have given him the opportunity to come home on November 19, 2020.
With that being said while serving his time he studied hard and long to complete his CDL driving training and was able to get through the learning courses and received his learner's permit for it.
Because of COVID-19, he was unable to complete the whole course, and now that he is returning home he still wants to complete the course but does not have the means of money to do so. Of course, needing other things like clothes, toiletries, shoes, etc.. Completing the class will give him a way of providing for himself and his family.
He is the perfect example of To Be Kreative, another individual that God had given another chance too.
So if anyone could or would donate to my Dad’s life; his new beginning, we would greatly appreciate it! ANYTHING IS HELPFUL.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are made new!
HE GAVE BOTH OF US A SECOND CHANCE AND I’M GRATEFUL!
If I had to tell any woman who doesn't feel like a Kreator, I would tell her that we all were born to Kreate! Whatever is it that you were purposed to kreate, YOU ARE A KREATOR. And To Be Kreative is here to help. Understand first that God created us to be whatever we want is the first step. Once you get that, shoot for the stars. If it’s writing, singing, poetry, fashion, graphics, blogging, mentoring, empowering... whatever! Do it! If you don't know Christ, I invite you to know him for yourself. The second step for me was embracing my story, and not being ashamed of what happened. Understanding with Christ ALL THINGS are possible. Everything you need is in the word and understanding that All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord. It’s so much easier surviving with Christ than, dying alone while trying to figure out.
